The heart of the Monster 696 is the legendary Desmodromic L-Twin cylinder engine. Its high torque provides impressive acceleration, exceptional performance and super smooth riding while the unmistakeable sound reveals the true soul of a Ducati motorcycle.

The ATPC clutch has a ‘slipper’ system which enables a lighter lever action at the bars and guarantees a smooth response to the most aggressive of down-changes. Combine this with a silky throttle response and it makes the 696 fun to ride in all conditions.
